Breast lift – with your own tissue or silicone?
Before the surgery, the exact location of the incisions is marked. During the surgery, it is important to observe the patient both in a flat and slightly reclining position to determine whether the tissue is sitting properly. An implant is necessary for a breast lift if there is insufficient tissue to use.
What is a sizer?
A “sizer” is a trial implant that is inserted before the actual implant. This allows the symmetry of the implant bed to be determined. If the implant bed is suitable, the actual implant is inserted during the same surgery.
Nose surgery – Why taping?
For optimal results, tape, tape, tape! After the cast is removed, the nose is taped for approximately another 45 days. This is one of the most important steps for achieving the perfect result. Correct taping supports wound healing and reduces scarring.
How does cartilage reconstruction work during nose surgery?
It may happen that a nose is missing tissue, for example, at the tip or bridge of the nose. In these cases, it is always better to use similar tissue from the body, such as cartilage from the ear.
How does the wound heal after labia reduction surgery?
Because less air reaches this area of the body, wound healing is a little more problematic than in other, more accessible areas. You sweat more, experience more friction, and there are specific germs in this region. However, there is a special wound healing plan for the period after surgery, which is just as crucial to the success of the procedure as the actual surgery itself. Treatment involves specific antibiotics for this area, including a specific wound regimen that must be applied consistently for 14 days. This way, you can expect a perfect result.
